2013年10月1日的下午，站在牛棚這個空蕩蕩的展覽廳內，望着高巍巍的天花頂，日光像鬼魅般從窗框滲進，空氣彷彿仍餘下牛的氣味，很不真實，卻是當下的感覺。驀然想起曾閱讀過的章節：「無止境的慾望是人的特質，也是建構悲觀和樂觀的共同基石。竟日糾纏於尋求不可能的完美及無盡頭的滿足，你將成為一個悲觀主義者；不斷追尋成長的機會，創造能成為事實的可能性，你將會是一個樂觀主義者。」
